"He built a name with his own hands, in a market that had never seen his craft. The group that carries it builds the same way."

Arafat Hussein · Daboudeya, Aswan → Luxor · Pioneer of Upper Egypt's Advertising Craft
Brand Story

Origin & legacy.

Arafat Hussein was originally from Daboudeya, Aswan — but he lived, worked, and built his legacy in Luxor. Self-taught, he founded Upper Egypt's advertising school, brought a real culture of advertising to a market that had never seen it, and was the first to establish rules of media excellence in his city — decades ahead.

The Craft

Inventive, curious, a devoted believer in lifelong learning — he held that experience must accompany a person for life, and that one must stay first to arrive at what's new in their field. He competed head-on with institutions many times his size, across all of Egypt, and won.

The School

He left behind gifted students in advertising and media — trained by his personal example as much as his teaching. Among them, his son Fahd Arafat, who carries the craft forward. He passed away in 2021.

The Group

The companies his family built — travel, outsourcing, media, construction, and now AI — were united under one holding group carrying his name. The pattern repeats: bring the new craft to the market that doesn't have it yet. Advertising, then. AI, now.

A name kept. A group built.

Our History

From a one-room office to a group.

Every company below still exists, in some form, inside the group today.

1998

Esquire for Advertising. Arafat Hussein founds the group's first advertising venture — a one-room office in Giza, with the earliest advertising presence taking root in Luxor. The modest beginning that would grow into New Vision.

2010

New Vision established, evolving out of that first office into a leading advertising and media agency across Upper Egypt — South Qena, Luxor, and Aswan.

2016

Fahd Arafat leaves Jotun as a senior account manager and starts EHB, focused on travel services. Early the same year, Ziad Arafat and Mohamed El Asmaey join him, strengthening the foundation for what follows.

2018

Otrix for Construction is established, led by Eng. Ziad Arafat, taking on contracting and construction projects in Egypt.

Future for Paints is founded in Suez under Mohamed El Asmaey, serving the Egyptian market with premium retail and project paint supply.

2021

Kamel Abdullatif joins the group and, together with Fahd, Ziad, and Mohamed, creates Quick Booking, specializing in hotel accommodations for business travelers in the USA.

That same year, Arafat Hussein passes away. His son Fahd and the family he trained carry the craft forward.

2022

Creative Basket is established for media production, marketing services, and outsourcing.

2023

The group continues to grow with On Call Solution, followed by Expo Way and Eventique, further diversifying the portfolio across outsourcing and travel.

2024

AHG Holding is established to manage all subsidiaries under one name, with a mandate to identify and invest in promising businesses. The group opens its Dubai office, joining its existing presence in Egypt, the UK, and the USA.

2025

The group invests in Assets Solutions, led by Kamel Abdullatif.

2026

The newest venture, Zarqa, joins the portfolio — and the legacy continues. AHG remains open to investing in any promising idea and building it into the next big thing in the region.

Vision & Mission

What we're building toward.

01

Vision

To be the region's definitive holding company — the first place a serious idea goes to become an enduring institution.

02

Mission

We identify, adopt, and grow businesses with real markets and real discipline — investing with the patience of an owner and the responsibility of a trust, so that what we build outlasts us.

Our Core Values

Principles older than the group.

We've long described our values through the teachings of Islam and the heritage of Upper Egypt. Two of them are best understood through the example of Uthman ibn Affan — a trader whose fortune became a trust for the people around him.

Trust Before Terms

Our word is the first contract, and the only one that can't be renegotiated. Every deal we've built stands on the same principle Uthman ibn Affan traded by: a name is worth more than a margin.

Wealth as a Trust

Uthman ibn Affan spent his fortune on a well and grain for a city that owed him nothing in return. We hold ownership the same way — what a business earns belongs partly to the people around it.

Patience Over Speed

We've watched trends outlast their businesses. We build for the decade, not the quarter — the same discipline that let a one-room office in 1998 become a group across four countries.

Craft, Carried Forward

Technology changes what tools we use. It hasn't changed the instinct that started this group: find the market that hasn't been served yet, and go first.

How We Invest

Adopt. Help. Grow. — our accelerator, in three words.

It's not a slogan. It's the process — how a one-room advertising office became a fifteen-company group, and how the next idea someone brings us can do the same.

01

Adopt

We take on early businesses and raw ideas the way we'd take on family — full commitment, no arm's length.

02

Help

Capital is the smallest part. We bring operations, governance, and a group of companies that can open doors a solo founder can't.

03

Grow

We've done this with a one-room office, a construction firm, a paint shop, and a booking platform. We'll do it with your idea too.

The legacy continues. If you have a promising idea — just an idea — we're open to building it into the next big thing in the region.
